DataWorks Names Sylution Consulting
As Reseller for Southeastern U.S.
Mission Viejo,
Calif., Aug. 18, 2005 – DataWorks Systems, a unit of Incuity Software, Inc.,
today announced the signing of Sylution Consulting, Inc., of Jesup, Georgia, as
the value-added reseller (VAR) for sales and support of the company’s Incuity™
Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) software in the southeastern United
States.
Sylution will
represent the company in North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and eastern
Tennessee.
“Sylution Consulting
is a great addition to our channel because they focus their services on
providing business intelligence solutions in addition to their comprehensive
automation and control systems,” said Gary Wilson, DataWorks Vice President of
Worldwide Sales. “They’re well-known in the region for their leadership in
value-added sales and support services, providing more than just the best
product lines but also offering application knowledge, project management and
enterprise integration capabilities that are so valuable to end users.”
“We’re very happy to
add the Incuity EMI products from DataWorks Systems to the array of high quality
products we offer our customers because the Incuity HDA™ and Incuity EMI™
software fits our business so well,” said Kevin Totherow, Sylution Consulting
president. “Our goal is to provide a range of complementary products that allow
customers to Acquire, Analyze and Present manufacturing and process information.
Incuity EMI products from DataWorks Systems add enterprise connectivity and
analysis tools to our data acquisition offerings so that customers can optimize
production operations to achieve lower total cost of ownership through better
maintainability. A key to this is providing greater visibility into
manufacturing information for use anywhere in the enterprise.”
Incuity HDA
connects to a variety of off-the-shelf plant floor historian products – such as
Wonderware’s IndustrialSQL Server™ historian, the GE iHistorian, OSIsoft’s PI
database, Rockwell Automation’s RS Bizwire Historian and any other OPC
HDA-compatible historian – to access archived production data and allow users to
manipulate, view, trend and report on it in the appropriate context.
Incuity EMI connects
to multiple types of data sources across all levels of medium and large
enterprises and offers more sophisticated capabilities for manipulating, viewing
and sharing data throughout larger organizations. It can access information over
any network, using standard browsers, and process it as requested so users can
analyze it from within the application software they already use to do their
jobs – whether it’s automation control systems, word processors, spreadsheets,
graphics, data mining or other programs.
