IncuityCEM to be Shown at 3 Energy Conferences
|
|
Incuity will
formally launch a three-show promotion of its first vertical
market package next week when it will exhibit and demo the
new IncuityCEM Campus Energy Management solution at the IDEA
Conference in Boston. The conference, sponsored by the
International District Energy Association, is titled "Clean
Energy, Sustainable Campus" and it couldn't have a better
target audience for gaining attention for the energy
management package.
The conference
and related expo center run from Tuesday, Feb. 12, to
Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston.
Incuity Vice President of Marketing Dave Smith will be
joined for the show by Eric Valentine and Mark Gardner of
Rice University, with whom the CEM application was
developed, and by staff from Control Associates, Incuity VAR
for the Mid-Atlantic region. The IncuityCEM application will
be demonstrated for school and university facilities
management attendees via a live Internet link to the Rice
campus.
The IncuityCEM
solution was unveiled at the VAR Conference in Dana Point
last month. Several VARs have already indicated they have
likely candidates for the CEM "vision" program, including
large school districts, colleges and universities, and other
"campuses" such as hospitals and large airport facilities.
Any VARs with interested sales prospects might consider
attending the Boston conference or bringing prospects to the
show.
Incuity will
also exhibit IncuityCEM at the IDEA 99th Annual Conference,
to be held in Orlando, Florida, June 29-July 2 and at the
2008 APPA conference, to be held July 9-11 in San Antonio,
Texas. APPA (originally known as the Association of Physical
Plant Administrators) specializes in energy management
solutions for college and university campuses.

Incuity to Exhibit at SAP's SAPPHIRE Conference
|
|
A major
conference and exhibit presence for Incuity this year will
be at the SAPPHIRE 2008 and 2008 ASUG Annual Conferences
hosted by enterprise software giant SAP in Orlando, Florida,
May 4-7. Incuity will be exhibiting IncuityEMI in Booth
#1382 at the SAPPHIRE conference. Any VARs with customers or
prospects who are SAP users and for whom an IncuityEMI
connection is important should plan on attending the
SAPPHIRE conference (see the link below).
As was
announced at the VAR conference last month, Incuity is
currently undergoing testing to achieve certification for
"Powered by SAP NetWeaver" status with SAP. This is expected
to be completed by late March, which enables Incuity to
participate in both the SAP show and the user group
conference. Incuity has also developed an SAP R/3 connector
that will soon be available as a standard product offering.

V5.0 Released
Parsec
Automation Corporation has released TrakSYS version
5.0. TrakSYS has again advanced Real-Time Performance Management
beyond what most other "me too" companies can even imagine. Built on
the latest technologies and taking advantage of MS SQL 2005 -
TrakSYS is far more advanced and easier to install and use than
previous versions. Parsec is advancing real-time performance
management for the entire industry with this release. Incredibly,
there is even more to come later this year!
Installing anything else is like building your system
on MS NT 4.0 and MS Server 2000. Should you be surprised to
find that installing old technology is hard?

March 31, 2006: Sylution Consulting Incorporated changes name to
Sylution Incorporated. "The name Sylution Consulting perhaps did not accurately
reflect our company as a vendor representative and value added reseller", stated
Kevin Totherow president of Sylution Incorporated. "We began as a consulting
company in 2000, but since 2004 we have been a vendor representative and and
value added reseller for business intelligence products. We want to be seen as
a supplier that provides outstanding product-centric services and support mostly
through an extensive network of system integration partners."
Totherow makes it clear however that Sylution Incorporated is still in the
services business. "Sylution provides product-centric system integration
services either as project lead or as a subcontractor to our solution partners."
Tom Davis, Sylution Incorporated Engineering Services Director adds, "Our
consulting services will also continue. Sylution provides
plant audits and system specifications to help companies identify opportunities
for return on investment for business improvement systems. We just happen to be very good at providing these high
level consulting jobs and helping companies establish standards for HMI and
visualization of information. It is an area we plan to continue to grow."
