Parsec Launches Next Generation of its Award-Winning Software: TrakSYS™ 7
Managing enterprise-wide manufacturing operations and their performance in real-time
BREA, California – 20 April 2010 – Parsec Automation Corp., global leader of real-time operations and performance management software for manufacturing, announced today the worldwide launch of the newest generation of its application software, TrakSYS.
Version 7 adds significant functionality to the already feature-rich TrakSYS platform that is in use by hundreds of manufacturing companies around the world.
"In developing version 7, our goal was a simple one: Make TrakSYS an even more effective tool in helping users to measurably improve the performance of their manufacturing operations,” says Eddy Azad, CEO of Parsec. “But since typical manufacturing operations are complex and multi-faceted, the actual effort in meeting the goal was quite extraordinary. TrakSYS 7 is the result of over 18 months of diligent R&D effort that we believe will surpass the expectations of even the most demanding users. We have made it possible to significantly improve intelligence-based decision making by further facilitating data exchange in real time among various systems, assets, and resources. Now guesswork is out and actions that drive improvement are in! Based on the early customer responses, we are confident TrakSYS 7 will be very well received."
TrakSYS 7 focuses on delivery of personalized, actionable, and timely information to the stakeholders throughout the enterprise no matter where they are. Through its expanded “Connect and Collect” technology, TrakSYS 7 collects data non-intrusively from disparate sources. Then, the user-configurable analytics and business rules turn the raw data into readily usable intelligence that clearly identifies the root causes of poor performance, their impacts, and the best opportunities for improvement. The TrakSYS 7 knowledge management and decision support portal aggregates key performance indicators, and distributes the relevant information across the value chain by personal preferences, discipline, and priority. The availability of critical information via personalized dashboards empowers collaboration and proactive decision-making, and makes improving the manufacturing operations a reality.
